Maxunitech Inc. Shines at the 38th China Plant Protection and Agrochemical Exchange and Procurement Fair
On November 22, the 38th China Plant Protection Information Exchange and Agrochemical Products Fair, organized by the National Agricultural Technology Extension and Service Center, grandly opened at the Hefei Binhu International Convention and Exhibition Center. This year’s theme was “Empowering Plant Protection through Technology for Food Security.”
This marked our company’s debut participation in a domestic plant protection market exhibition with a dedicated booth. Leading the delegation were Mr. Zhong Yi, Deputy General Manager of Sales; Ms. Jia Qun, Director of Domestic Sales; Mr. Chen Fei, Manager of the Field Crops Division; Mr. Guo Shijian, Director of Application Research and Development; and Ms. Xu Xiaoyan, Chief of Application Research. Over three days, the booth attracted more than 1,000 visitors, including distributors, retailers, and large-scale farmers nationwide.
The exhibition highlighted our comprehensive range of pre-emergent herbicides and solutions for major crops such as cotton, wheat, rice, soybeans, peanuts, sugarcane, corn, alfalfa, and horticultural plants. Visitors, including officials, distributors, cooperatives, and large-scale farmers, expressed strong interest in our innovative herbicide solutions, particularly in addressing issues related to severe weed resistance and difficult weed control. This event effectively showcased our research capabilities and achievements, strengthened customer engagement, and laid a solid foundation for future collaborations.
In the rice and wheat-focused zone, Maxunitech Inc. prominently displayed products such as Hehejing® (pre-emergent herbicide for wheat), Hemaiteng® (foliar herbicide for wheat), Mailong®, Ruiche®, as well as Daoerle® and Daoyuanding® (pre-emergent herbicides for rice). These products garnered significant interest, with a steady stream of inquiries from potential partners, signaling promising opportunities for collaboration.
Daoerle®: Launched in 2024, this next-generation pre-emergence herbicide for transplanted rice fields introduces Flufenacet globally for this application. It is highly effective against barnyard grass, sprangletop, and crabgrass while ensuring rice safety. By 2024, its application covered 330,000 acres.
Daoyuan Ding®: An innovative pre-emergence herbicide for rice fields currently under registration. With a novel mode of action, it offers strong pre-emergence control of barnyard grass, sprangletop, and crabgrass. Suitable for various cultivation methods such as mechanical transplanting, water direct seeding, and dry direct seeding, it shows vast market potential.
Mailong® & Ruiche® Program: Introduced in 2024, this solution targets resistant broadleaf weeds in wheat fields. Centered on the safe Triclopyr-butotyl, combined with Diclosulam and Fluroxypyr, it ensures clean and effective weed control while protecting wheat. Together with Maxunitech’s Hehejing® and Hemaiteng®, it forms a comprehensive pre- and post-emergence herbicide system for wheat fields.
Xinjiang Cotton Solutions: Maxunitech offers a lifecycle management system for cotton in Xinjiang. Longcaojing® products have been applied over 3.3 million acres, supported by complementary programs such as the topping solutions Longlongmao® and Heding®, defoliation solutions Hemianlong® and Mianlijia®, nutrition solutions Tefumei®, pest control solution Helihu®, and yield-enhancing Hedafeng®.
Xinjiang customers visiting the cotton section highly praised the safety and efficacy of the Longcaojing® series. With the increasing adoption of herbicide-resistant cotton in Xinjiang, there is a growing demand among distributors for cost-effective herbicide solutions suitable for such fields. Our company’s developing product, Helixing®, is expected to meet this need.
At the Maxunitech Inc. landscaping section, the company showcased six products for landscaping and non-cultivated land applications, including Huanpinglong®, Hekuojing®, Xilidao®, Xilijie®, Heheqing®, and Maibilong®. Landscaping team members Peng Junchao and Tian Yu provided visiting customers with detailed explanations of product features, selling points, application cases, and usage techniques. Customers expressed strong interest in collaborating on the use of Huanpinglong® and Hekuojing® for pre-emergent weed control in nurseries and flowers, as well as the application of Xilidao® and Xilijie® for total vegetation control in non-cultivated land areas.
Participating in this crop protection event provided an opportunity for face-to-face communication with clients of all scales from across the country. By analyzing current challenges and pain points, the team gained deeper insights into market, user, and client needs, identified opportunities for product entry and promotion, and explored current challenges and trends. This collaborative effort aims to uncover new opportunities for growth and cooperation.
